Setting Up the ‘Caring for the Planet’ Survey

The survey was put together by our Green Team in an effort to see how hard the people of Balbriggan are working to save energy and care for our planet.  Cian met the Mayor of Fingal and invited him to take the survey and to ask all the members of Fingal County Council to log on to our website and take the survey too.  The Mayor was delighted to take part.  We now have notices all over Balbriggan library (big thanks to the staff there!) advertising it and they have also advertised it on their monthly e-mail newsletter.

Please enjoy the photos of the Green Team planning the survey with Sheila and Beth and going on-line to take part themselves.  Check out the photo of Cian persuading the Mayor to have a go!

Dan’s 5th Class Gardening Project

The children in Dan’s 5th Class have been working on a gardening project for the last few months and we have learned so much about caring for the environment.  We were delighted to meet the Mayor of Fingal on Tuesday November 29th and show him all we’ve been doing and all we learned.  See our reports and photos below.
