Meet the Freedom Photography Competition Entrants!
In order to highlight the importance of the fundamental rights of children, PREDA Ireland invited the children of Ireland to take part in a novel project on Wednesday December 10th – International Human Rights Day. The competition involved taking a photo, which we felt represents “Freedom”. The image could be fun, creative or thought provoking.
Take a look at our entries below and find out why we chose these photos.
Thank you for looking!
Alamin, Kristina, Luke, Mizna and Noah
Alamin
I took this photo because it reminds me that just because nobody is perfect, we can still try our best and everybody is free to be themselves. There is always something good inside of us.
Kristina
I took this photo because the sea in the background, the cars and the bicycles remind me of the right to travel and the freedom to go wherever we want.
Luke
I took this photo because it represents fresh air and the freedom we have to go out and play.
Mizna
I took this photo because religion represents freedom for me and lots of the squares on the quilt represent different religions.
Noah
I took this photo because everyone no matter what age you are you can still have the freedom to have fun.
